i came across these amazing photographs by Hiroshi Sugimoto, they instantly took me back to nights at the drive-in with my family. unfortunately, only 383 remain open in the US...here are the surviving few in Colorado:

Combination of drive-in theater and motel; also known as Best Western Movie Manor. Operates two screens
The Star Drive-In in Montrose
The Starlite Drive-in in Sterling
Despite having two screens, only one has been in use since 1997
The TruVu Drivein in Delta
